Stances in 'Introduction': Political Science - Introduction 1 - Stance Ratio

Learning Objectives & Strategies:
Find the pattern of overall stances in a move and stances only in move-making sentences in that move.
1. Compare the two categories in the table below.
2. Ask "are the ratios (in the three moves) between the two the same or different?"
3. If different, why? If the same, what does that mean?
4. Compare, vertically, overall stances used in the 3 moves. What pattern do you see? Repeat the same on move-making stances.
5. Compare as many examples as you can and see if you find a more definite pattern from the ratios.
