高雄人,畢業於高雄中學。目前就讀於國立臺灣師範大學音樂學系,主修作曲。 即將就讀國立臺灣師範大學數學研究所數學組。對於跨領域表演與音樂理論有濃厚興趣, 擅長將音樂專業與自身在其他領域的知識結合,亦重視藝術作品與社會環境的交互作用。
曾於 2022、2024、2025 年參與聲徜音樂節師大音樂系校際單元, 發表電子音樂作品《瀕死經驗》、《關於光的三幅草圖》及《軌道II》。 2023 年於十方樂集發表混合音樂作品《為自由而被烈焰吞噬的靈魂》。 2024 年 5 月於師大音樂系演奏廳舉辦畢業製作, 同年 7 月於衛武營音樂廳發表管樂團作品《死與生的循環》, 11 月參與師大美術館響應白晝之夜的跨域製作《米龍 360》, 12 月於師大禮堂發表管樂團作品《淨化》。
2025 年於第十二屆聖彼得堡國際新音樂節發表器樂作品《軌道 I》, 並接受 Stefano Gervasoni、Panayiotis Kokoras、Mehdi Hosseini、 Nikolay Khrust 等國際知名作曲家之個別指導; 同年 6 月獲選對位室內樂團青年作曲家, 於衛武營表演廳發表器樂作品《軌道 III》, 11 月獲選參與 NSO 舉辦之第二屆《以樂會客2.0》國際作曲家工作坊。
A native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, CHIANG Hsin-Yen graduated from Kaohsiung Senior High School. He is currently studying composition in the Department of Music at National Taiwan Normal University, and will soon enroll in the department of Mathematics at the same university. He has a strong interest in interdisciplinary performance and music theory, and excels at integrating his musical expertise with knowledge from other fields. He also places great emphasis on the interaction between artistic works and their social contexts.
Hsin-Yen has presented works at various festivals and performances, including the C-LAB Wandering Festival in 2022, 2024, and 2025, where the electronic music works "Expérience de mort imminent," "Trois esquisses sur la lumière," and "Orbit II" were featured. In 2024, Hsin-Yen premiered the wind orchestra pieces "Le cycle de mort et de résurrection" at the Weiwuying Concert Hall in July and "Purification" at the NTNU Auditorium. In November, Hsin-Yen participated in "Rice Dragon 360," an interdisciplinary production at the NTNU Art Museum as part of Nuit Blanche Taipei 2024.
In 2025, the instrumental work "Orbit I" was premiered at the XII St. Petersburg International New Music Festival, where he received individual lessons from internationally renowned composers Stefano Gervasoni, Panayiotis Kokoras, Mehdi Hosseini, and Nikolay Khrust. In June of the same year, selected as a Young Composer by the Counterpoint Ensemble, the piece "Orbit III" is performed at the Weiwuying Recital Hall. In November, he was selected to participate in the NSO-hosted international composers' workshop.
