Pre-registration and On-site registration

If your registration is not received by May 18, you must register on-site. Our registration desk at the meeting will open on June 1. Participants will receive a conference pack which includes a receipt, program, and a name tag. Participants are required to wear their name tags at all times during the conference sessions.

Information Desk
IsCLL-13 Information Desk will be open during the conference period to provide information and assistance. The location will be in the Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Education Building, National Taiwan Normal University.

Session Guidelines
There will be a host to announce the session guidelines before each session starts and to introduce the chair of the session. The chair will introduce the presenters, manage the Q& A session, and keep the presentations within the time limit. In addition, there will be room monitors to assist the presenters with computer set-up and to keep time during the presentations.

Changes in program
The information about program changes will be displayed on the notice board outside the Conference Room. Please check the notice board for last-minute changes or cancellations.

Sessions
All sessions will be held in the Conference Room on the second floor of the College of Education at National Taiwan Normal University.

Presentation Guidelines

  1. Plenary sessions are 50 minutes-long, including 10 minutes for discussion. Oral presentations include 20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of discussion.
  2. A time-keeper will keep a watch and hold cards reading ‘5 minutes left’, ‘1 minute left’, and ‘Stop.’ Don’t forget to look over at the time-keeper during your talk. Session Chairs will stop your presentation if you run over.
  3. Please organize your talk with introduction, body, and conclusion. Please clearly state the question addressed, data, findings, and the significance of the findings of your study. Some concrete examples and/or visual aid will help the audience interpret the content of your talk.
  4. Whenever possible, minimize the number of lines of text shown on the handout or slides.
  5. The handout or slides should contain the critical examples and crucial points of your study. If your examples are from a language other than English, please provide an English gloss to the audience who are non-native speakers of the language.

Coffee Breaks
Refreshments will be served free of charge.

Banquet
A banquet will be held at 6:00 p.m. on June 2. On-site registration is required.
